Footprint Capital Advises Pioneer Energy Management in Acquisition of Southern Water Management
Columbus, Ohio, June 1, 2025 – Pioneer Energy Management, Inc. (“PEM”) acquired Southern Water Management, Inc. (“Southern Water Management”), a utility submetering company based in Florida. Footprint Capital, LLC (“Footprint”) acted as the exclusive buy-side advisor in the transaction.
Headquartered in Westerville, OH, Pioneer Energy Management is a full-service energy management and submetering company who provides tailored solutions from the initial installation of the electric and water infrastructure, to submetering, to billing and customer service.
Southern Water Management provides water submetering solutions including meter equipment, system configuration and installation, and billing services to its customers. With this acquisition, PEM will now be responsible for the reading and billing of nearly 100,000 meters every month.
